Barometer tourist Nice Carnival of the month December 2010 Special

Tourism activity in December 2010 was mixed, with strong performances in tourist homes (up 27% of overnight stays from December 2009) and for air (+4 % of passengers). It has, cons, was fair for the hotel (- 4% of nights), museums and home offices Tourist Office which showed a significant decrease in visitors (-14%). The balance of 2010, however, is generally satisfactory, except for the air transport sector, compared to 2009, has lost 6% of its passenger traffic.

Nice for 20 years

Having released its first issue, there just twenty years a report on the destination Nice Detours magazine in France ( to draw 150 000 copies ) wanted to mark this anniversary by publishing a "special Nice. D years his No. 149 February / March, 55-page colorful show the diversity of the region from Nice to Monaco, to the Mercantour National Park , Sospel Tende and Menton. Under the title "The Rise of the beautiful," Nice is described as a city reconnecting with his past and creative audacity of its theatricality, displaying a youthful image, modern and dynamic. This report follows a press reception made in August last.
