How Do I Remove Record Series On Direct Tv

Spots History of Mexico from Similis

Crowned with my first success with Offerings (see below) Summer 2009 was an opportunity for me to do another contest ... in fact I made two, but we'll see in a future article.

I knew the competition Panazol for several years as a colleague of mine lived there and told me about, and I regularly read the trade press, but it also I will come back.

The contest rules were simple: a page rule and a set up by affordable child 8 years (8 years is one year after learning to read, so it is children who know read texts not long). In addition it was good, I have a small neighbor who has hair cell-age ... offset this with my children who are slightly older and significantly more used to playing serious games (Battlelore does not scare them, and I simplified that they try to Caylus). Nevertheless, I preferred not to put any text in the game to be about.

I quickly thought of a short game discard because it is a mechanism that is easy to understand: the winner is he who has no cards! I imagined original cards with several criteria: colors, numbers, sizes and symbols.

But I am struck cons quickly to my main weakness: the design! Offerings for the model was made. No worries so graphic! But then, I had built my game for testing. Here I am

Gimp busy drawing geometric shapes on cards ... Pfui! what a pain! Take over the software was not a problem, the worry was really graphic. I could use drawings stuck on other games, or websites, but I do not like to usurp the work of others, too, I made my triangles and squares in my hand ... it went something like this:
ugly, no?

I test the game after a session cutting and setting sleeve protects card. Action! Even the little 8 year old neighbor has the stuff! TOP, I write the rules! Problem ... What title? My first title

baby rummy not sit anyone, especially not me, but worse, everyone found the game hideous!

Long galley where I presented my game to anyone who approached my table playing for a national title at least ...

Fortunately, Philip Chaissac who had more or less promised help for the design of the cards when I had done my troubles, arrived one day with the twin concepts of title and graphics ... it gives Similis as you can see below.

Admit that it has no mouth?

geometric forms have become Egyptian symbols, the sizes of the symbols have become a background color, the values are represented, the colors reduced to 3 instead of 4 ... brief 'too early' to paraphrase Chuck (what, I said I will not talk about sports, not TV series)!

now sending everything to Panazol for the 2009 competition ... a box found by chance in a drawer stack format games tins of Gigamic a nice sticker on it and top too! The jury

Panazol has obviously enjoyed too because I'll spare you the details of the selected finished my game among the six finalists! TOP TOO I tell you!

I collected an honorary award, well yes, we can not do second every time, but for a start, I find myself very lucky!

I competed with the Fairy Froutch the excellent Delphine Lemonnier, Saute-Crèpe Pascal Jumel, High Cubes of my namesake Sylvain Duchene, Farfa'dés Pascal Pak Cormier Sapristi Snake Detrez Gregory. Saute- Crèpre and Froutch Fairy was 1st and 2nd respectively Contest Parthenay children (I did not compete) so I knew that I would not be so powerful and effective they exchanged their Panazol place.

But beyond a contest, I met some great people.

Delphine and her companion Yohann, Pascal and his son (and their accents Tarn), Pak and his wife Ivy, Greg who almost regret being published because he could no longer participate in this contest, Sylvain and his gang .. . Very good moments as a test for All of Wizzz Sylvain, Dolly Pak and a very good game of cards Pak also based Escargot de Bourgogne ... prototypes of all those authors who were my co-winners. I felt very small in front of their fervor and imagination to create. Congratulations to you all!

I also had the opportunity to discuss with editors and Yves Renou Mr. Blackrock Edition who taught me a lot about the difficulties of editing and especially to distribute.

A weekend intellectually rewarding to say the least! I hope to propose a new game this year ...

defects Similis

J'n'ai not win. So, there were defects. First I was criticized a visual similarity with another game called Speed ... I do not know. Belote is a kind of Corsican ... bof! I think Nobodies is far enough, but I do not argue: I learn.

most constructive criticism that made me is the lack of 'fun' Speaking of the game for a younger audience, the drawings are too serious and the game too calculative. However, I did play the entire weekend Similis to children's audience, and it is rather the parents who do not follow ... I even had a proposal to purchase the game! IF! But having only one copy, the prototype, I refused!

I hope that I can rework it in some time for making a game more fun! and this will undoubtedly see new graphics and a sudden change some rules. We'll see!

Too bad I liked the graphics Similis! Want a last look over. And promised, I put it for download in a few days.

The rule Similis

logo de Similis

Theme: It's a game Card with original maps. Players must get rid of all their cards by combining and asking those with one, two or three things in common. The more common in the combination, the player most problems for other players by giving them cards in his hand.

Preparation:

Each player receives ten cards. It has 3 cards in the center of the table, is the market. The remaining deck is placed next to it is the pick. The youngest player starts.

History:

In turn, each player can make an action from:
  • Ask a series of maps:
  • A series of cards is comprised of:
    • or 4 cards with a common
    • is 3 cards with two common
    • or 2 cards that have three common points
    • either 1 card with four ... uh no;)
can be developed using a series of three cards on the market, but in this case, it will be replaced by another at the end of turn. Hinder opponents When asked three cards (two in common) are given a card to one of his opponents. Similarly, when asked two cards (three shared) it gives 2 cards, or both at the same opponent, or two different opponents. So in all cases, we put four cards in his hand.
  • Draw a map: When you can not ask for cards, even with the help of the market, then it remains only to draw a card that is placed in his hand. Round game ends at once: it was the next player. The player who just shot may use the new card until the next round.

End of Game:

the first who has played all his cards wins. It is not necessary to replace the card socket on the market. It is not necessary to have enough card to give to his opponents. The important thing is to get rid of his cards.

Variation:

When the game starts, you pull two cards at random from the packet. The first defines a shape, the second color.
Example: first card: 2 - Ankh - Blue - ground stone
second map: 5 - Scarab - Green - bottom sand.
thus deduced shape and color: Ankh - Green. For the game, ankhs green (whatever the merits) are banned from matches. We can not even put them in the market. By cons, they can give other players, when playing combinations of three or two cards ...

Score:

can play several rounds. The winner of a game point zero mark, the other point mark in the number of cards remaining in hand (including those that can give the winner to complete his hand). The round ends when one player scores over 50 points. Winner is the player who has scored the fewest points at this time.

Feel Giddy After 20 Mins Of Treadmill

Presentation

" Offerings - a rule for Stonehenge " is my first creation accomplished. I already did some tests, which unfortunately have not been completed at the end, but still in boxes waiting for days full of ideas ...

What motivated me, it is possible to restore the rule, a guarantee that it will be read and tested, in addition, the model was already done since it was part of the challenge. This was really a die-designer maidenhead fun.

I then made a site ( http://sylves.free.fr ) when talking about the event and share it with my family. Then I started on Facebook, but this does not seem satisfactory, too closed. That is why we are here today.

The rule is Creative Commons. It is a system which guaranteed a free license semblance of legal protection for the author ... simply, never having tested the legal practice, I'm not sure it actually works. At least it will do better.

Finally, the rule of this game is nothing without the box itself, which will probably not re-edited when it is exhausted, this game will never be anything but a gratuitous act to the community fun (French for I do not feel the force of translation ... now if it tries any of you ...).

download, please not!

I thank the team at the games library of Issy-les-Moulineaux who inspired me to create!

Offerings Offerings - a rule of game for Stonehenge. First step in

Offerings

Presentation Topic: Building your own dolmen to escape the authority of the High Druid.

The new High Druid Brunofaiduttix is a stickler on dogma. Tyrannical and uncompromising, he spends his time praying to compel his followers or to work for him. Acolytes (or 'Initiated by Prime Circle': apprentice druids) dream only of one thing: from to dolmen their own away from the authority of the High Druid. For this, they must gather the resources needed to build a new dolmen ... monolith by monolith ... Fortunately, there is a monolith of black market, and every insider went there this weekend, unless Brunofaiduttix remembers.

Every day, the High Druid load an insider clean the offerings of previous ceremonies. Insiders recover some of their benefit offerings for sacrifice at the altar of their future worship. The gods who receive the gifts, thanked the priest giving it the resources necessary to purchase its dolmen. With these resources they will buy monoliths.
When acting day, insiders will enjoy moments of inattention to recover Brunofaiduttix offerings, but at night they fly to other offerings Initiates the First Circle. Extremely jealous of them, they mutually s'espionnent and denounce their colleague at the slightest suspicion.

Nevertheless, Brunofaiduttix distrusts his henchmen and holds the eye. Some days, he chose one that will accompany all day-impossible for the young druid to do anything. It may even happen the day off of the insider, so he can not go to market. Other times it will require them to make their own offerings. Therefore, insiders hide and avoid ending up on the same box as the High Druid.

Presentation

Stonehenge is a game concept! In fact it's more box sets of the XXI century. The material is quite exotic: 5 dolmens each into three pieces, 50 pieces in 5 colors rounds, 50 sticks in 5 colors Druid 6 figures, a set of 65 cards and a special game board but no rule ... Finally, 5 by 5 written rules recognized game creators who were asked to establish their rule imposed on this material.

Oulipo is the game.

Among these artists, there Richard Borg ('BattleLore'), Richard Garfield ('Magic') and Bruno Faidutti (the only French team creator of two dozen games, including ' Citadel ',' The Valley of the mammoths', 'Democrazy', etc..). The other two are less known French : Mike Selinker (a version of 'Risk' and 'Key Largo' with B. Faidutti Randles and Paul) and James Ernest ('Kill Doctor Lucky ").

For more details, I invite you to read the newspaper creation of Stonehenge VO by Mike Selinker!

Contest

During the summer of 2008, I launched a competition to create a rule for the game box Stonehenge. The contest was organized by the Toy Library Issy-les-Moulineaux because the city at that time organized the first exhibition Bruno on Faidutti museum in French Playing Card .

For those who do not know, Faidutti Bruno is one of the great creators of games French. The list of his publications is proof.
There were about thirty people who have requested a description of gaming equipment organizers. Participants were given until September 15, 2008 to make their copies. The team then tested the toy library rules to select three finalists. These three rules were given to Mr. Faidutti will establish a final ranking.

I was fortunate to be selected among three finalists. When I learned, I invited all testers for a lively evening ;-) Thurs. I thank them again for their participation in the design of this game that night, we played at Time's Up and Democrazy. Throughout the week that followed I thought Bruno Faidutti playing with offerings.

Results

October 4, 2008 at the Toy Library of Issy-les-Moulineaux, Bruno Faidutti gave its final ranking:
  • The Five Suitors by Cedric Blaise
  • Offerings
  • Marathon Stonehenge by Theo Senate (then a young man minor)
I heard a photo of the moment! The evening

During the evening, we presented Bruno Faidutti Gambit 7 he provided translation / adaptation into French for Days of Wonder . Then we played and met Ludopathiques charming all evening: facilitators and users of the toy library! It gives me great memories! An article

was written by Limp 's website Jedisjeux where we see a picture of the winner Cedric Blaise none other than Limp ;-). There are also some very nice photos of the expo and Faidutti French Museum of Playing Cards .

Other games Stonehenge

Many players have invented and made available to them (s) rule (s). There are several sites that collect it but you can find the French versions on the site ludigaume translated by Limp (yes him again,-D).

web page I made this section so that everyone can Offerings enjoy. Hence, the rule is a free download. Have fun playing Offerings much as I enjoyed creating this rule.

I thank Python for his careful reading.

How Much Do Surgeons Get Paid

Blogspot

I finally found time to feed this blog ... The most difficult is to find a look that suits me, and that can make you want to read me regularly. Therefore, the current appearance may change.

Keeping a blog is hard, not at the technical level but rather to the frequency of use thereof. I am aware that a blog is a blog maintained somewhat moribund, but this blog will aim at one of my passions.

No way you serine with my bobos, and my daily joys (y 'Facebook for that either?), No way to talk about politics or sports (any sport is so dangerous to health). No one theme here, my playful creations ... What my games!

games that I see are games of companies, bordgames in English, board games as say the enthusiasts. But we must recognize that the board game played with people from diverse backgrounds and origins, are Above all, board games. Simply, there is a small side pejorative because for many passionate, the board game reminiscent of parts of endless Monopoly with the little brother who will scream if he loses, so if you do pay when it comes fall on the Rue de la Paix, the game ends soon ...

How many of us have succumbed to the temptation to close your eyes to ensure peace in the game .. even if only for ... keep playing!

We love it so much time outside of time where the excitement is mixed with fear ... but fear of what? Fear of losing? No, afraid not to do the best ... to forget something basic, the fear of it biting your fingers (it hurts? not even) ... May also be fear that the game simply stops!

Also, continue the game seems like a solution which does not serve, nor you, nor the little brother ... for you as quickly, you do more fun to pass him at all, for him because he does not learn the frustration, failure, and the desire to do better next time! For thus, the parties, there will be more open to others ...

is why we love about board games ... ago in this term a certain maturity, an implication of fair play if you want.

In fact, I like to play seriously! Like chess players (oops I said that I will not sport!) Bridge or Scrabble, and all other games seriously - I think we can play being concentrated and wanting to do better, improve his game without being mono-maniac always seeking the best strategy.

I'll introduce in the following sections, my first creations, almost chronologically, and the success I had that led me to continue. I also punctuate the mood of tickets to the game, my vision the game, hoping that I will continue to keep this blog a long time and thus to fulfill myself by playing
