A press conference Carnival "King of the Mediterranean" was held on Tuesday 1 February at the Embassy Italy to Paris. Hosted by HE Ambassador Giovanni Caracciolo di Vietri, Christian Estrosi, Deputy Mayor of Nice has introduced the 2011 edition of the Carnival including the guest of honor will be Italy. He also recalled the relationship between Nice and Italy, which this year celebrates the 150th anniversary of the proclamation of the unified kingdom.
